Job Summary:
The IT provides technical support to employees, assists in maintaining IT systems, and ensures smooth operation of computer networks, hardware, and software. This role involves troubleshooting issues, setting up devices, and assisting with IT-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide first-level technical support to employees.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications and camera system..
Assist in troubleshooting internet and connectivity issues.
Hardware & Software Management:
Set up and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on hardware and software.
Ensure all software is properly licensed and updated.
Network & Security Support:
Assist in monitoring and maintaining company networks.
Support in implementing cybersecurity measures.
Help in managing access controls and user permissions.
Data Backup & Documentation:
Assist in performing regular data backups and recovery.
Maintain IT documentation, including hardware/software inventory.
Keep records of technical issues and their resolutions.
Collaboration & Training:
Work with the IT team to improve system efficiency.
Provide basic IT training to employees as needed.
Assist in IT projects, system upgrades, and new technology implementation.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in an IT support role.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of Windows, macOS.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other common business applications.
Basic understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
Experience with troubleshooting printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
Office-based with occasional on-site support.
May require after-hours support in case of emergencies.
