2. Conducting comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to senior management as necessary.
3. Administration of Value Added Tax (VAT) obligations.
4. Maintenance of the organization's ledger system.
5. Execution of daily and monthly financial closure procedures.
6. Completion of month-end accounting tasks including reconciliations and journal entries.
7. Collaboration with the finance team to ensure timely completion of assigned accounting responsibilities.
8. Preparation of financial reports and statements for review by senior management.
9. Identification and resolution of financial discrepancies through thorough analysis.
10. Monitoring of expenditures, analysis of revenues, and identification of budget variances, with subsequent reporting to management.
11. Prompt response to accounting queries from senior management.
12. Provision of guidance and support to subordinate accountants as required.
13. Contribution to budget formulation and expense management initiatives for designated accounts.
14. Participation in audit processes by furnishing requisite information and preparing necessary documentation.
15. Accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
16. Evaluation of existing accounting procedures and recommendation of modifications where necessary.
17. Oversight of collections activities.
