The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a cosmetics manufacturing facility. This includes supporting production lines, utility systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and control panels.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on production and utility equipment.
Install and maintain electrical wiring, lighting systems, circuit breakers, and PLCs.
Assist in equipment commissioning and electrical modifications.
Maintain records of maintenance work and prepare reports.
Collaborate with the production and mechanical teams to ensure efficient operations.
Adhere to GMP, safety protocols, and electrical codes.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and energy-saving projects.
Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, VFDs, PLCs, and sensors.
Familiarity with cosmetic/food/pharma machinery is a plus.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
